Different Modes
To flow / To sink
- Lagoon mode:
The Lagoon mode simulates a lagoon environment with low energy consumption. The pump speed is slowly adjusted to recreate the gentle currents of a lagoon.
- Reef Crest Mode:
The Reef Crest Random mode simulates a high-energy reef environment. The pump will frequently and radically change speed to simulate crashing waves and rising tides. It is a favorite among SPS corals.
- Gyre Mode:
The Gyre mode creates a flow pattern consisting of uniform flow rates in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions, pulsing at an interval selected between two seconds and two hours.

Battery
In an aquarium without water flow, the fish and corals can start to die in as little as 4 to 10 hours. The backup battery is a reef tank insurance contained in an aluminum case.
By adding the backup battery, your tank is insulated from power outages, helping to protect your valuable investment and the inhabitants of your tank.
