Behavior and Compatibility
The coral rabbitfish is a peaceful and non-territorial fish. It is completely indifferent to other aquarium species, even the smallest ones, making it an ideal companion. However, it is recommended to introduce it into an already well-established aquarium, with a natural decor rich in hiding spots and open swimming areas.
In case of stress or threat, it can produce a mild toxin through its dorsal spines, deterring predators without posing a danger to peaceful fish.
