Eutropiellus debauwi is a species of fish belonging to the family Siluridae, known as "Debauw's Eutropiellus".
It is native to West Africa, where it lives in freshwater rivers and lakes.
Eutropiellus debauwi is a fish with a robust and elongated shape, with a broad head and a protrusible mouth. The body is covered with large scales and is generally gray-green or brown in color, with numerous red or orange spots. The fins are transparent and thin.
Eutropiellus debauwi is a gregarious and territorial fish that enjoys living in groups and defends its territory. It is suitable for aquarium life and ideal for experienced aquarists. This species requires a large aquarium and specific living conditions, such as moderate temperature water, a substrate of sand or gravel, and adequate filtration and aeration.
