Description

The mechanical filter media helps to retain suspended matter and dirt particles before the subsequent filtration stages.

EHEIM MECH and EHEIM MECHpro pre-filter media act upstream in the cleaning process to protect biological media and improve overall filtration efficiency.

EHEIM FIX can be used as a separation layer between mechanical and biological filter media. For fine filtration at the end of the cycle, before the water returns to the aquarium, the EHEIM SYNTH filter floss is particularly suitable.
