It is necessary to leave about ten centimeters between this coral and its neighbors to prevent it from burning them. The galaxea needs moderate lighting and water flow. It is one of the easiest hard coral species to maintain if the Calcium and Kh levels in the aquarium are kept stable.

An LPS coral dazzling like fireworks
The RAH Galaxea fascicularis Fireworks is an exclusive strain cultivated by RécifAtHome, selected for its elongated fluorescent green polyps and its mouths that burst with color under blue lighting. This striking contrast is reminiscent of the brilliance of fireworks at night, hence its name "Fireworks".
A vibrant, luminous, and structuring coral
This Galaxea fascicularis is renowned for its dense and vibrant texture, with mobile polyps that create a constantly lively effect. Its rounded and compact shape suits both spacious tanks and targeted areas of a nano reef.
Ideal conditions for maximum fluorescence
Lighting and flow
To bring out the full power of its colors, moderate to strong lighting is recommended (between 150 and 250 PAR). A moderate flow is enough to oxygenate its tissues and allow its polyps to extend smoothly, without excess.
Water parameters
Like all LPS corals, the Galaxea fascicularis Fireworks requires stable and well-balanced water:
- Temperature: 24–26 °C
- Salinity: 35 ppt (1.025)
- pH: 8.0–8.4
- KH: 7–9 dKH
- Calcium: 400–450 ppm
- Magnesium: 1250–1350 ppm
- Nitrates: 2–10 mg/L
- Phosphates: 0.02–0.08 mg/L
