With a maximum adult size of 5 cm, Gramma dejongi is slightly smaller than the Royal Gramma, but just as captivating. It brings a bright and rare touch to any well-structured reef tank. This discreet fish likes to stay close to rocks, in semi-shaded areas where it feels safe.
Bred and raised in France by MERS, each specimen comes from a controlled production, without wild capture. Acclimated to inert food from the first days, this Gramma dejongi easily feeds on pellets and quickly accepts standard aquarium food.
This fish appreciates calm, stable environments with plenty of hiding places. It is compatible with a wide range of corals and invertebrates.
Gramma dejongi is a peaceful fish, slightly territorial during breeding periods. It can be kept alone or in pairs, and coexists well with non-aggressive species. It often stays in the lower or middle areas of the tank, close to its shelter.
This fish is an omnivore with a carnivorous tendency and also plays a role in parasite cleaning, making it a valuable ally in a community tank.
