Based on a principle proven over decades, the EHEIM Jäger heater now incorporates advanced thermal technology. The temperature is adjustable with precision and maintained consistently thanks to a reliable regulation system.

The special laboratory glass sleeve increases the heating surface, ensures even heat distribution, and protects the aquarium inhabitants from any direct contact with the heating element.

The temperature can be precisely adjusted from 18 to 34 °C and readjusted if necessary within a range of ± 2 °C. The control accuracy is ± 0.5 °C.

The heat is maintained constant, and an indicator light shows the operation of the heater.

The heater is fully waterproof, completely submersible, and equipped with dry run protection through the Thermo Safety Control system. It is suitable for both freshwater and marine aquariums.

FAQ

Presence of Moisture in the Heater

Each EHEIM aquarium heater undergoes a leak test before being marketed. The presence of visible condensation inside the glass tube is not dangerous.

During operation, the air inside the heater expands with the rise in temperature and escapes through the cable. During cooling, a vacuum is created, and ambient air can be drawn inside. If this air is humid, condensation may appear on the glass wall.

This condensation has no conductive contact with the aquarium water and does not affect the safety or proper functioning of the heater.
