JBL Clearol removes floating microparticles not retained by the filter, such as particles responsible for white turbidity, algae mats causing green water, and bacterial origin turbidities. The agglomerated particles sink to the bottom of the aquarium or are captured by the filter.

Usage Recommendations

It is recommended to clean the filter more frequently after use to remove the retained turbid substances. JBL Clearol should only be used if the pH is above 6 and the carbonate hardness is above 5° dKH.
