JBL ProFlora CO2 Professional M – Automatic CO2/pH Regulation

The JBL ProFlora CO2 Professional M is a CO2 fertilization system with automatic CO2 regulation via pH, designed for planted freshwater aquariums from 40 to 600 liters. It ensures a precise and fully automated supply of carbon dioxide for optimal plant growth in plants.

Operating Principle

The system is based on a CO2/pH controller that continuously measures the water's pH using a pH electrode not provided. Depending on the measured value, the solenoid valve automatically regulates the CO2 injection until the target pH corresponding to the ideal CO2 concentration is reached.

A new factory-sealed pH electrode must be purchased separately for the system's operation.

Installation

The assembly is simple: the regulator with solenoid valve is screwed onto the CO2 bottle, the solenoid valve is connected to the CO2/pH controller, and then the tube is connected to the bubble counter with non-return valve and to the TAIFUN CO2 reactor.

The pH electrode is then connected to the controller, and the target pH is set.

Safety and Reliability

The screwed tube fittings prevent any slipping. The non-return valve protects the bottle from any water ingress. The integrated pressure gauges indicate the pressure in the bottle as well as the working pressure.

The regulator is compatible with disposable and refillable CO2 bottles.
