The JBL ProFlora CO2 Basic Set U is a complete CO2 fertilization kit designed for planted freshwater aquariums ranging from 40 to 300 liters. It ensures a controlled supply of carbon dioxide to aquarium plants, promoting balanced growth and helping to prevent algae.

Function and Use

The system operates with a disposable CO2 bottle. Installation is simple: the regulator is screwed onto the bottle, the hose is connected to the bubble counter with a check valve and then to the ceramic diffuser. The flow is adjusted by setting the number of bubbles.

Safety and Reliability

The disposable CO2 bottle is TÜV approved. The screwed hose connections prevent any slippage, while the check valve protects the bottle against any water ingress.

CO2 Control

The concentration of dissolved CO2 in the water is monitored using the supplied permanent CO2/pH test. This visual indicator allows checking the CO2 level and adjusting it if necessary.
