JBL ProFlora CO2 Professional Set V – Automatic CO2/pH Regulation without Cylinder

The JBL ProFlora CO2 Professional Set V is a CO2 fertilization system with automatic CO2 regulation via pH, designed for planted freshwater aquariums from 40 to 600 liters. This version is provided without a CO2 cylinder or pH electrode, allowing for flexible adaptation according to the equipment already available.

Operating Principle

The system is based on a CO2/pH controller that continuously measures the water's pH using a non-provided pH electrode. Based on the measured value, the solenoid valve automatically regulates the CO2 injection until the target pH corresponding to the ideal CO2 concentration is reached.

A single-use or refillable CO2 cylinder, as well as a new pH electrode, must be purchased separately.

Installation

The regulator with solenoid valve is screwed onto the non-provided CO2 cylinder. The solenoid valve is connected to the CO2/pH controller, then the hose is connected to the bubble counter with a check valve and the TAIFUN CO2 reactor.

The pH electrode is then connected to the controller and the target pH is set.

Safety and Compatibility

Screwed hose connections prevent any slipping. The check valve protects the cylinder against any water ingress. The integrated pressure gauges indicate the pressure in the cylinder as well as the working pressure.

The regulator is compatible with disposable and refillable CO2 cylinders.

Aquarium Compatibility

The JBL ProFlora CO2 Professional Set V is designed for freshwater aquariums with a volume between 40 and 600 liters.
