JBL ProFlora CO2 Taifun Count Safe – CO2 Bubble Counter with Check Valve

The JBL ProFlora CO2 Taifun Count Safe is a bubble counter designed for CO2 fertilization systems for planted aquariums. It makes the injected carbon dioxide visible and allows precise control of its flow rate.

Function of the Bubble Counter

The bubble counter transforms the invisible CO2 gas into visible bubbles, allowing the number of bubbles injected per minute to be counted. This visual control facilitates precise adjustment of the CO2 supply.

Integrated Check Valve

The integrated check valve prevents any backflow of water towards the regulator or CO2 system, ensuring safe use.

Installation

The bubble counter is filled with water, then connected via tubing to the CO2 system and the reactor. It is mounted outside the aquarium:

– either on the glass using two suction cups
– or on the stand using two screws

Adjustment of CO2 Supply

The bubble counter allows control of the CO2 supply. If the amount of dissolved CO2 is insufficient, the number of bubbles per minute can be increased in a controlled manner via the regulator.

Safety

The tube connections are screwed to prevent any accidental detachment of the CO2 tubes.
