Benefits and Usage

Bottom-dwelling fish naturally seek food on the substrate. The JBL PRONOVO TAB M tablets perfectly meet this behavior by settling directly on the substrate or adhering to the aquarium walls. Once attached to the glass, they also allow direct and appreciated observation of feeding behavior.

The majority of bottom-dwelling fish consume these tablets, while some free-swimming species quickly learn to identify them by smell. Large fish consume them in one go, while smaller ones nibble them progressively.

For species with specific needs, the JBL PRONOVO Species Special concept allows precise adaptation of the diet. Some carnivorous-inclined Loricariidae species prefer animal-based food rather than plant-based, unlike other mostly herbivorous species.

Armored catfish have a varied diet including small animal organisms, shrimp, and plant elements. A diversified diet remains essential for their nutritional balance.
