The Kessil A500X is a high-power 185 W LED fixture, developed to meet the demands of reef aquariums dominated by SPS corals. It integrates Dense Matrix LED technology paired with Kessil Logic spectral management, ensuring uniform light output across all settings.

Its combination of high power and broad spectrum is designed to promote intense growth, optimal coloration, and sustainable health of SPS corals. The light beam can be adjusted using optional 35° or 55° reflectors.

Dense Matrix LED Technology

The patented Dense Matrix technology concentrates numerous LED components onto a single surface, forming a compact, homogeneous, and highly penetrating light source. This design helps to limit shadow areas and achieve a reach of up to approximately 75 cm below the water surface. The average reach can be increased by using multiple fixtures side by side.

Kessil Logic Spectral Management

The Kessil Logic principle ensures consistent light performance and steady coral growth across the entire available spectral range, from actinic spectrum to Tuna Blue.

Color Mixing and UV Emission

Different wavelengths are grouped on the LED matrix surface, allowing for homogeneous color mixing and intense light emission. The specific UV emission developed by Kessil helps improve coral growth and coloration.

Control and Connectivity

The A500X can be controlled via manual control buttons or using the Spectral Controller X. It can be linked with other fixtures in the X series via the K-Link protocol. The fixture is compatible with the Kessil WiFi Dongle as well as with mounting arms.

The Kessil X series fixtures can be integrated into the Neptune APEX app via the WiFi Dongle or directly for the AP9X model, allowing centralized lighting control.
