Reef Fusion 2 is part of the two-part Reef Fusion system developed by Seachem to provide essential elements for coral growth. Reef Fusion 2 is specifically designed to restore and maintain carbonate alkalinity (KH).
Used in conjunction with Reef Fusion 1, it helps maintain stable levels of calcium and alkalinity in reef aquariums while providing an ionic balance suited to the biological needs of the reef.
SEACHEM
Reef Fusion 2 contains a concentrated blend of carbonates and bicarbonates, with a total alkalinity of 4400 meq/L. This formulation provides the necessary carbonate for the calcification of corals, calcareous algae, and other skeleton-building organisms.
It is designed to be used in a simple 1:1 ratio with Reef Fusion 1, making it one of the most concentrated two-component systems on the market.
Function: Increase and maintain alkalinity.
Type: Concentrated liquid solution.
Alkalinity: 4400 meq/L.
Usage: Two-part Reef Fusion system.
Compatibility: Reef aquarium.
Can be used alone to correct KH.
500 ml, 1 L, 2 L, 4 L.
Recommended dosage every 1 to 2 days.
Shake well before use.
Add 1 ml of Reef Fusion 1 per 25 L of water in a high flow area.
Wait a few minutes, then add Reef Fusion 2 in the same manner, at a rate of 1 ml per 25 L.
It is recommended to add Reef Fusion 1 and Reef Fusion 2 in separate areas of the aquarium.
This dose provides approximately 0.176 meq/L of alkalinity.
Never mix Reef Fusion 1 and Reef Fusion 2 directly.
Recommended alkalinity: 3 to 6 meq/L (8 to 17 dKH).
The dose or frequency can be increased if necessary, without exceeding 4 ml per 25 L per day.
Reef Fusion 2 can be used alone if calcium levels are correct but alkalinity is insufficient. It is not mandatory to always use Reef Fusion 1 and 2 together when the tank is unbalanced.
