For this new Gyre 300 Cloud Edition, Maxspect has refined the original Gyre 300 pumps to offer a more advanced Gyre pump. The linear flow is evenly distributed, which helps eliminate virtually all dead spots in the aquarium.
The directional cages and flow directors have been redesigned to offer four vertical and horizontal flow directions. These settings allow the flow to be adjusted to the aquarium, directing the flow where it is needed.
Maxspect engineers have redesigned the Gyre pump by reducing the number of parts and making assembly more intuitive. The design of the Gyre 300 Cloud Edition pumps simplifies replacement and reduces cleaning time, allowing the pump to be quickly returned to operation.
The Gyre 300 Cloud Edition is controlled via a Cloud controller equipped with a 3.2-inch color LCD TFT screen, 20 predefined mixing modes, WiFi connectivity, and the ability to control the pump via the Syna-G Cloud app from an Android or iOS device. The app also allows connection and control of compatible Maxspect equipment, including Maxspect Jump MJ-L165 lighting.
The Gyre 300 Cloud Edition controller is compatible with version 1 Gyre 300 pumps.
The Gyre 300 Cloud Edition pumps are equipped with directional cages and flow directors allowing horizontal and vertical adjustments. They allow for different mixing configurations, such as normal flow, direct flow, wide flow, or flow directed to the left and/or right. The pumps can be placed closer to the surface while limiting the risk of noisy air vortexes, enhancing surface mixing for optimal gas exchange. The flow directors also help limit the exposure of certain components to light to reduce algae buildup and extend the maintenance intervals of the rotors.
The new Gyre XF330CE and 350CE Single models are delivered without a power supply because only one power supply is needed to power the latest generation Cloud controller with two pumps. If the Gyre XF330CE and 350CE are used with the old Gyre 300 controller, a power supply per pump is required.
