EHEIM Biopower 200 Internal Filter (new version)

The EHEIM Biopower 200 internal filter is based on the Aquaball concept and combines the advantages of a compact internal filter with multi-stage filtration comparable to that of an external filter. Its modular design allows precise adaptation to the needs of the aquarium.

Filtration Principle

Water is drawn in from the bottom of the filter through an intake basket equipped with a mechanical-biological pre-filtration cartridge. It then successively passes through closed filter baskets, originally filled with highly effective filtration media such as EHEIM SUBSTRATpro, before being discharged back into the aquarium as filtered water.

Thanks to this structure, the Biopower 200 offers multi-level filtration while sustainably protecting bacterial cultures.

Aquaball Modular Design

The spherical pump head mounted on a ball joint can be pivoted in all directions to precisely direct the discharge flow. The filter baskets are connected by a simple attachment system and can be added or removed to adjust the filtration volume.

Cleaning the filter media can be done in stages, thus limiting biological disturbances in the aquarium.

Settings and Oxygenation

The flow rate is adjustable directly on the discharge nozzle using a rotary button. The filter is equipped with a Power-Diffusor diffuser allowing regulation of the air supply and increasing water oxygenation while creating a natural surface agitation.

Contents and Installation

The filter comes complete, ready to use, with original EHEIM filtration substrates. It attaches easily to the aquarium glass using robust suction cups. The filter body can be removed from the support for maintenance, replacement of filter media, or addition of extra modules.
