The Physogyra lichtensteini is part of the LPS (large polyp stony corals); they are generally easier to maintain than small polyp stony corals (SPS). The Physogyra has large cylindrical polyps comparable to bubbles with a diameter of 2 to 3 cm.
You should leave about ten centimeters between this coral and its neighbors to prevent it from burning them.
It is one of the easiest hard coral species to maintain if you keep its Calcium and Kh levels in the aquarium. The photo is a faithful representation of our Physogyra intended for sale.
