Alveopora Silver
A delicate LPS coral with silvery hues
The Alveopora Silver is a refined LPS coral, appreciated for its long, light, and graceful polyps exhibiting a light gray to silvery hue. Under blue lighting, it can reveal subtle steel blue, pale green, or pearly cream reflections, giving it a silky and sophisticated appearance.
A gentle and natural movement
Thanks to its constantly extended polyps, the Alveopora Silver offers a fluid, undulating effect in the aquarium. It is perfect for adding visual volume without heaviness, creating a soothing and textured area within the reef.
Ideal conditions for good expansion
Lighting and flow
Moderate lighting (100–200 PAR) is recommended to preserve the softness of its silvery hue. A gentle to moderate flow is ideal to encourage full polyp extension while avoiding any tissue stress.

Like all long-polyped LPS corals, the Alveopora appreciates stable and slightly nutrient-rich water:
- Temperature: 24–26°C
- Salinity: 35 ppt (1.025)
- pH: 8.0–8.4
- KH: 7–9 dKH
- Calcium: 420–450 ppm
- Magnesium: 1300–1400 ppm
- Nitrates: 2–10 mg/L
- Phosphates: 0.02–0.08 mg/L
