Briareum strechei Green Fluo Cultivated - Size S
A vibrant and easy encrusting coral for all reefs
The Briareum strechei Green Fluo is a cultivated encrusting soft coral, appreciated for its intense fluorescent green color and its waving behavior when it extends its polyps. In size S, it is ideal for starting a colony on live rock or a platform, bringing a bright living tapestry to the reef decor.
A coral that spreads easily
This coral extends by covering available surfaces, creating a natural and textured effect. Its rapid growth and non-aggressive behavior make it an excellent option for filling bare areas and visually enhancing a reef tank.
Feeding and behavior
The Briareum strechei Green Fluo feeds naturally through its fine polyps that capture suspended particles. It does not require targeted feeding but appreciates slightly nutrient-rich water to support its development.
Lighting and water flow
This coral prefers low to moderate lighting and medium water flow that allows the polyps to remain fully open. It can be placed in the lower or semi-shaded area of the tank for a natural contrast.
Water parameters
For optimal growth, the cultivated Briareum strechei requires stable water conditions:
- Temperature: 24–26 °C
- Salinity: 35 ppt (1.025)
- pH: 8.0–8.4
- KH: 7–9 dKH
- Calcium: 400–450 ppm
- Magnesium: 1250–1350 ppm
Easy to propagate and share

Belle boutures de petites tailles mais qui pour l'instant et timide car les escargots viennent dessus donc j'attends de voir quand il vas s'ouvrir complétement. Sinon super couleurs fluo sous LEDs redsea reffled 50
