Flourish Potassium is a highly concentrated potassium supplement, an essential element for maintaining vigorous plant growth in planted aquariums. Potassium can become a limiting factor in tanks with high growth or when the base water is low in minerals.

Potassium is an essential element for many physiological processes of aquatic plants. In a fast-growing system, it can be quickly consumed, leading to deficiency signs such as yellowing of older leaves.

Unlike common sources of potassium like potassium nitrate or potassium phosphate, Flourish Potassium is derived from potassium sulfate. This formulation allows for precise adjustment of potassium levels without altering the nitrogen or phosphorus inputs, thus providing complete control over the NPK ratio.

It can be used in conjunction with Flourish Nitrogen and Flourish Phosphorus to separately adapt each macro-element to the specific needs of the aquarium.
