Unlike common sources of potassium like potassium nitrate or potassium phosphate, Flourish Potassium is derived from potassium sulfate. This formulation allows for precise adjustment of potassium levels without altering nitrogen or phosphorus inputs, thus offering full control of the NPK ratio.

It can be used in conjunction with Flourish Nitrogen and Flourish Phosphorus to separately adapt each macro-element to the specific needs of the aquarium.
