Impeller / rotor for Red Sea RSK-600 skimmer

The Red Sea R50531 impeller is an original spare part designed for the pump of the REEFER Skimmer 600, also called RSK-600.

This impeller, also called a rotor, is one of the pump’s main moving parts. It helps draw in and mix air and water to produce the fine bubbles needed for the skimmer to operate.

Replacing the RSK-600 rotor

A worn, damaged, or dirty impeller can cause reduced bubble production, vibrations, noise, or irregular pump operation.

Replacing the rotor with the Red Sea R50531 impeller makes it possible to replace only the affected moving part without having to change the entire skimmer.

Maintaining the skimmer impeller

Regular cleaning of the impeller and its housing is recommended to prevent the buildup of deposits that could hinder rotation and reduce skimmer performance.

Before any intervention, unplug the pump. After cleaning or replacement, make sure the rotor is correctly positioned and spins freely before restarting the Red Sea RSK-600 skimmer.

Compatibility warning

The R50531 reference is intended for the standard REEFER Skimmer RSK-600. It should not be confused with the impeller used on the REEFER DC Skimmer 600, whose pump and rotor are different.
