Roller Clean Max for Maxspect Maxspect Lagoon Aquarium

The Roller Clean Max is an automatic filtration solution designed to operate by gravity in the sump of Maxspect Lagoon aquariums. It provides continuous mechanical filtration while reducing the frequency of maintenance operations.

Automatic Operation

Water enters the Roller Clean Max compartment by gravity and passes through the filter fleece. Suspended particles, food remnants, and organic waste are mechanically retained.

When the filter fleece becomes clogged, the water level rises and activates a level sensor. This automatically triggers the motor to roll up the dirty part of the fleece and position a clean area under the water flow. Once the level drops, the motor stops automatically.

Roll Replacement

The system is designed for quick replacement of the filter fleece roll. The support cassette can be easily removed from the sump, the used roll replaced, and then the assembly put back in place without tools.

Adjustment of Rolling Frequency

The position of the level sensor in the cassette allows adjustment of the rolling frequency of the filter fleece. This setting allows adapting the operation of the Roller Clean Max to the actual organic load of the aquarium.

Nutrient Management

A side window located on the lower part of the cassette allows part of the water flow to be diverted away from the filter fleece. This setting is useful when the water becomes too nutrient-poor, to preserve the biological balance of the aquarium.

Controller Indicators

The Roller Clean Max controller has three indicator lights:

• Green light: normal rolling of the filter fleece
• Blue light: level sensor blocked or triggered for too long
• Red light: motor blocked or overload detected

Filter Fleece

The filter fleece is compatible with both freshwater and marine aquariums. It removes particles responsible for the rise of nitrates and phosphates while retaining salts and trace elements present in the water.

Its structure allows a high flow rate of up to 8000 liters per hour and quick drying after filtration. The operation of skimmers is not affected.
