Tropic Marin Original Balling Refill Set

The Tropic Marin Original Balling Refill Set is designed to refill the Tropic Marin Original Balling Liquid Set. Each sachet easily dissolves in 5 liters of osmosis water, without the need for weighing, ensuring a quick and precise preparation of the Balling solutions.

A complete method for perfect ionic balance

The Balling method enriches aquarium water with three essential components:

• Part A: Calcium chloride dihydrate for calcium supply
• Part B: Sodium carbonate or bicarbonate for carbonate hardness (KH)
• Part C: Marine salt without sodium chloride to restore ionic balance

This system maintains a precise balance between sodium and chloride ions, ensuring a water composition identical to that of natural seawater. It thus offers optimal conditions for the growth of hard corals, soft corals, and red calcareous algae.

Composition

Ingredients

The Tropic Marin Original Balling Refill Set contains:

• Part A: Calcium chloride dihydrate (20,000 mg/l Ca)
• Part B: Sodium carbonate/bicarbonate (2,800 °dH/l)
• Part C: Marine salt without sodium chloride (~3,350 mg/l Mg; ~980 mg/l K)

Application and dosage

Each sachet dissolves individually in 5 liters of osmosis water. Then, add the same quantities of each of the three solutions separately to the aquarium daily (never mix them together).

Adding 50 ml of each component per 100 liters of water increases the calcium content by 10 mg/l and the carbonate hardness by 1.4 °dH.

Maximum dosage

Do not exceed 150 ml of each solution per 100 liters of aquarium water per day.
