Tropic Marin Elimi-Aiptas treatment against Aiptasia anemones

Anemones of the genus Aiptasia are among the most common pests in saltwater aquariums. They are often inadvertently introduced with live rocks or corals and can spread quickly, causing damage to corals by their ability to tangle and burn tissues.

Tropic Marin Elimi-Aiptas was developed to quickly and safely combat aiptasias and other unwanted cnidarians in reef aquariums.

Targeted action and rapid effectiveness

Elimi-Aiptas is a very effective treatment that acts directly on aiptasias, without altering the chemical composition of the coral aquarium water. Its formulation is designed to precisely target unwanted anemones and allow their rapid elimination.

Use by direct injection

The product is used by direct injection with the supplied syringe. Draw Elimi-Aiptas into the syringe, place the injection needle on the syringe cone, then inject a few tenths of a milliliter directly into the cnidarian.

It is important to directly target the anemone and inject the product as quickly as possible before it contracts.

Elimination process

After the injection, a white, flaky, and cloudy mass may escape from the animal. This mass should not be removed as it increases the effectiveness of the treatment.

Following the treatment, the aiptasia decomposes, thus freeing up space and allowing corals to grow without being hindered.

Precautions for use

After use, carefully rinse the injection needle with clear water and remove it from the syringe. Follow safety instructions to avoid injury and keep the product out of reach of children.
