Tropic Marin ICP Water Analysis Plus is a professional seawater analysis kit conducted in a laboratory, based on ICP-OES technology and supplemented by other measurement methods for important parameters and nutrients. The test also includes the analysis of a water sample. Osmosed, in order to control the quality of the water used for water changes and evaporation compensation.
The chemical elements present in the seawater sample are analyzed in the laboratory using inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES). Other methods are used as a complement for specific measurements of nutrients and essential parameters.
Once the analysis is completed, the user can view a detailed report on the website. lab.tropic-marin.com. This report includes well-reasoned recommendations to correct any potential imbalances. It is also possible to track the analysis history for each aquarium and visualize the changes in values over time.
The detected deficiencies can be corrected using Tropic Marin Block multi-element solutions or Tropic Marin Components single-element solutions, depending on the needs identified by the analysis.
Simple use thanks to the complete ready-to-use kit.
Precise analysis of water values by qualified laboratory personnel.
Visualization of progress and history for each aquarium on the site lab.tropic-marin.com.
Clear dosage recommendations to correct the identified deficiencies.
Analysis included of osmosis water used for the aquarium.
| Kit element | Description |
|---|---|
| 2 empty 15 ml vials (white cap) | For the seawater samples from the aquarium. |
| 1 empty 15 ml vial (red lid) | For the sample of osmosis water. |
| 1 empty 50 ml container (white lid) | For the main water sample from the aquarium. |
| Syringe | Water sampling. |
| Syringe filter | Water filtration during the filling of 15 ml vials. |

4. Fill the 50 ml cup with water taken from the center of the aquarium.
5. Draw two more successive samples with the syringe. Discard the first 10 ml through the syringe filter into the aquarium, then inject the remaining 15 ml into each of the 15 ml cuvettes with white lids before closing them.
6. Rinse the 15 ml red-capped vial with osmosis water, then fill it with a new sample of osmosis water.
7. Attach a label with the sample number to each container. The label with the red logo must be affixed to the container with the red lid.
8. Attach the address label to the shipping box and place the prepared trays inside, then send the package to the indicated address.
9. You will be informed by email when the analysis is complete. The results can be viewed online or downloaded in PDF format. In the web display, the history of values for each aquarium is available.
10. A quick illustrated guide is also available to help you follow the steps for collection and shipping.
Once the ICP Water Analysis Plus results are available, you can view the overall condition of your seawater, identify any imbalances, and apply the recommended dosing suggestions.
