The Tunze Strong Care Magnet is a high-performance cleaning magnet designed for aquarium glass up to 20 mm thick. Thanks to its patented dual blade and hydrodynamic design, it allows for quick, efficient, and scratch-free cleaning of the glass, even in the presence of encrusted algae.

Its integrated Care Booster system ensures the buoyancy of the internal part and improves the grip of the external part, while the interchangeable end caps allow the magnet's aesthetics to harmonize with your aquarium.

Technical Specifications

Care Magnet Principle

The Care Magnet concept is based on the use of two blades of different lengths, creating two distinct pressure points. The short blade removes encrusted algae, while the long blade allows for quick cleaning over large surfaces. This patented principle guarantees effective results while preserving the glass.

The distance of more than 3 mm between the internal magnet and the glass prevents sand grains from getting trapped, significantly reducing the risk of scratches. The high-strength plastic blades offer cleaning performance comparable to a metal blade, but without danger to the glass.

• Also suitable for rounded or curved glass.
• Plastic blades with rounded corners: smooth transition from one glass to another without damaging silicone joints.
• Does not disperse algae in the water: they are compacted and serve as natural food for fish.

Included Care Booster

The Care Booster system is composed of two floaters and four fixing clips. It allows the internal magnet to automatically rise to the surface in case of detachment, avoiding any manual retrieval from the bottom of the tank. On the external magnet, it also serves as an ergonomic handle, while reducing friction resistance.

Usage Tips

• Before each use, ensure that the contact surfaces and the glass are free of sand or particles.
• Use the stainless steel blade only for tough calcareous algae on glass panels.
• Do not use on acrylic glass.
• Never abruptly bring the two magnets together: risk of pinching and damage.
• Keep away from magnetic cards and sensitive electronic devices (minimum 50 cm).
