Balling Salts Biopolymer Ca Fauna Marin is a specific salt intended for the calcium supply of reef marine aquariums. It integrates into the recognized Balling Light method, allowing precise and controlled supplementation of calcium, magnesium, carbonates, and trace elements, according to the actual consumption of the aquarium.

Principle of the Balling Light method

The Balling Light system by Fauna Marin is a complete and autonomous system, compatible with all types of marine aquariums and common filtration methods, including ZEO and Berlin methods. It allows for the addition of only the elements actually consumed, thus ensuring long-lasting parameter stability.

Advantages of Calcium Mix

This salt incorporates a combination of trace elements promoting the growth and coloration of corals. Its use allows for custom dosing, precisely calculated using AquaCalculator, effectively limiting the old tank syndrome. Its concentrated formulation ensures an economical and reliable supply, while maintaining stable values in calcium, magnesium, and carbonate for healthy and colorful soft corals.

Preparation of Container 1 – Calcium Mix

Dissolve 2 kg of Balling Light Calcium Mix in 3 liters of osmosis water.

Then add 25 ml of Balling Light Trace 1 and 25 ml of Balling Light Trace 2. Mix thoroughly, then top up with osmosis water to achieve a final volume of 5 liters.

The amount to be dosed depends on the specific consumption of each aquarium. It is recommended to precisely calculate the needs using AquaCalculator and adjust the dosage accordingly.

Using the Balling Light system

The Balling Light method requires the use of three separate containers for a complete supply of the reef aquarium. Container 1 should contain only the Calcium Mix.
