Principle of the Balling Light Method

The Balling Light method by Fauna Marin is a complete and autonomous system, compatible with all types of marine aquariums and standard filtration systems, including the ZEO and Berlin methods. It allows for the supply of only the elements actually consumed by the aquarium, ensuring long-term stability of the parameters.

Advantages of the Carbonate Mix

The Carbonate Mix integrates a combination of trace elements promoting coral growth and coloration. The custom dosing, calculated using AquaCalculator, helps effectively prevent the old tank syndrome. Its concentrated formulation ensures an economical and reliable supply, with stable values of calcium, magnesium, and carbonates for healthy and colorful soft corals.

Preparation of Container 3 – Carbonate Mix

Dissolve 500 g of Balling Light Carbonate Mix in 3 liters of osmosis water.

Then add 25 ml of Balling Light Trace 3, mix thoroughly, and then top up with osmosis water to achieve a final volume of 5 liters.

The amount to be dosed depends on the specific consumption of each aquarium. It is recommended to precisely calculate the needs using AquaCalculator and adjust the dosage accordingly.

Use of the Balling Light System

The Balling Light method requires the use of three separate containers for a complete supply to the reef aquarium. Container 3 should contain exclusively the Carbonate Mix.
