Introduction to Phosphate Remover

The Phosphate Remover 1000mL uses trivalent iron to instantly precipitate phosphate ions in the aquarium, transforming the phosphates into a solid and inert compound that does not affect marine biology.

Mode of Action and Benefits

This product captures phosphates in the form of iron phosphate, making them unavailable to marine organisms and eliminating their negative impact on the aquarium. The immediate precipitation allows for precise and effective control of phosphate levels.

The formed precipitates are then removed by internal mechanical filtration, such as filter wool, micron bags, or roller filters, and by the protein skimmer.

Unlike traditional iron hydroxide-based resins, the Phosphate Remover offers a distinct advantage by allowing the removal of a defined amount of phosphates without increasing the bioavailable iron in the aquarium.

Usage Tips

Instructions for use: 0.2mL of product precipitates 0.01mg/L of phosphates in 100L of aquarium water.

Do not decrease the level by more than 0.01 mg/L per day at the start.
In case of a large excess of phosphates, distribute the required dose over several days, regularly monitor the level, and gradually increase the dosage if necessary.

Composition: Purified water, Trivalent Iron (III) Chloride

For aquariums equipped with a technical tank with a mechanical filtration system, it is recommended to dose the product directly into the overflow so that the precipitates are immediately recovered.
