Adhesive marine food, feeding without dispersion

Adhesive food for marine fish is designed to stick to a pane of glass or a support, reproducing the natural grazing behavior of many species, especially herbivores. Its main advantage is that it limits the dispersion of food in the tank, thereby reducing waste and organic pollution.

Historically, aquarists used dried algae sheets held in place with clips. With the evolution of practices and marine nutrition, ready-to-use adhesive formulations have appeared, offering better hold, a more balanced composition, and easier use.

Today, these foods allow for gradual feeding, reduce competition among fish, and promote more natural feeding, while helping to better control nutrients in a reef aquarium.
