All carbons inherently contain phosphate, but MatrixCarbon stands out with a particularly low level of leachable phosphate. Phosphate comes from the ashes of the carbon source, and acid washing aims to reduce these ashes. The spherical shape of MatrixCarbon allows for more efficient washing, reducing the leachable fraction.
