Nyos Active Carb extremely effectively removes yellow substances, dissolved organic compounds, unwanted odors, cloudiness, and stinging toxins released by some corals. It thus contributes to better light penetration and a healthier environment for the tank inhabitants.

This active carbon is steam-activated, without chemical additives, and has a very low content of phosphates and heavy metals. It can be used in both marine and freshwater aquariums, without risk to sensitive organisms.

Recommended usage

Nyos Active Carb is used in a media filter, fluidized filter, or in a filter sock placed in a high-flow area. Briefly rinse with osmosis water before use.

Recommended dosage: 500 to 1000 ml for 1000 liters of water, depending on the organic load of the tank.
