The juvenile Pomacanthus imperator is an angelfish with a blue body adorned with yellow and circular stripes all over. Its few incompatibilities with other living beings and its sometimes aggressive temperament require some experience in aquarium keeping.

In most angelfish, the juvenile has completely different colors compared to its adult state. For example, the juvenile Pomacanthus imperator has a bluish hue covered with more or less circular yellow/white stripes. Once adult, this fish is very solitary but can still live in pairs without any issues. In Oceania or South Asia, it resides in caves or ledges, where a large number of corals are present. In reality, this specimen does not particularly defend a territory. However, it is possible that it may show aggression towards other fish or even its own kind.
For effective maintenance in an aquarium, a tank of at least 500 liters is recommended, especially once the individual is an adult. A temperature of 22° to 26°C is suitable for the juvenile Pomacanthus imperator. A pH between 8.2 and 8.4 is also advised. Generally, this fish is tolerant of changes in environmental parameters. However, be cautious of incompatibilities with corals and mollusks. Additionally, it needs space to feel comfortable in an aquarium and follows an omnivorous diet with a carnivorous tendency.
Pomacanthus imperator common name: Emperor Angelfish. This fish has an oval-shaped body, the snout is white and the rest of the body is blue with slightly oblique yellow lines. This fish needs to be fed multiple times a day; otherwise, it might nip at some SPS, LPS, and soft coral polyps but without consequence if your coral population is sufficient.

Beau et sans stress
Très beau poisson qui s'est immédiatement incorporé dans l'aquarium. Ni craintif, ni agressif. Il semble se faire admirer dés que l'on s'approche de la vitre. Nage toujours en compagnie d'un chirurgien bleu.

Tres beau
Tres beau specimen, malheureusement a souffert du voyage. Plus de 24h c'est long je l'ai recu a 16h. Passé par montpellier puis tours puis la roche puis fontenay ca fait trop. Je ne sais pas si il va se remettre on croise les doigts.
