The Centropyge bicolor is a bicolor dwarf angelfish. Indeed, we can notice that the specimen has yellow scales, crossed by a large blue band as well as a smaller one above the eyes. Like other fish of the same family, it has an oval shape and a very thin body width-wise. Living in pairs or groups, it occupies the bottom and mid-water areas. Though not highly territorial, it can still be aggressive towards its peers and other animals present in its environment.
In an aquarium, a minimum water volume of 300L is mandatory for the maintenance of this species. Furthermore, the acceptable temperature ranges between 22° and 26°, and the optimal pH between 8.2 and 8.4. Incompatible with corals, the Centropyge bicolor is an omnivore with a tendency towards algae-eating. As such, spirulina, nori leaves, and dry or frozen foods are perfectly suitable for its daily diet.
Common name: Two-band dwarf angelfish. This fish has an oval body; it is yellow from the mouth to the pectoral fin, and the rest of the body is blue (except for the caudal and pelvic fins, which are yellow). The bicolor is an easy species of Centropyge to
