Description

Solution to increase carbonate hardness in marine aquariums. KH Plus was created to maintain sudden drops in carbonate hardness and restore the ionic balance in the aquarium. The appropriate value of carbonate ions is necessary for the healthy growth of corals and for the construction of skeletons. Due to the presence of carbonate ions, maintaining a stable pH is possible.

Dosage

5 ml of KH Plus solution increases carbonate hardness by 0.5 dKH in 100 l (27 US gal) of water.

Carbonate hardness in the reef aquarium should be around 6.5 to 8.5 dKH.

Do not increase dKH by more than 0.5 dKH per 24 hours.

Please ensure your magnesium level is within the recommended range before attempting to increase or adjust your calcium and alkalinity levels.
