Substrate Cleaner is capable of breaking down otherwise inaccessible phosphate deposits stored in the substrate or rocks. In combination with Phos-Out 4 and Special Blend, these phosphates can be sustainably removed from the aquarium.
By eliminating these internal sources of nutrients, it also helps limit nitrate formation and stabilize long-term water quality.
