Flux Rx is an anti-algae treatment designed for saltwater and reef aquariums. It effectively eliminates green filamentous algae as well as bryopsis.
The product is formulated to be safely used with fish and invertebrates when applied according to the recommendations.
Flux Rx effectively acts against the following algae:
Green filamentous algae.
Bryopsis.
Flux Rx should not be used in the presence of higher algae or refuges containing macroalgae, such as caulerpa or chaetomorpha.
If a refuge is present, macroalgae must be removed before treatment and only reintroduced after it is completely finished.
Before starting the treatment, remove activated carbon, absorbent resins, and any other chemical filtration.
Turn off UV and ozone.
Significantly reduce or stop the skimmer for a duration of 3 to 4 days.
The use of filter socks is recommended to help capture detached algae.
Allow Flux Rx to work for a period of 10 to 14 days to observe complete results.
Recommended dosage: 1 small provided scoop for 38 liters of aquarium water.
Maximum treated volume: approximately 757 liters.
A container holding 4000 mg of fluconazole.
Two plastic measuring spoons:
A large spoon of 1 cc, corresponding to about 25 US gallons.
A small spoon of 0.15 cc, corresponding to about 5 US gallons.
When dosing, the large spoon should be leveled, while the small spoon should be filled rounded.
4000 mg of Flux Rx can treat up to approximately 750 liters of aquarium water.
