Sphaeramia nematoptera – Elegant and Peaceful Pajama Cardinalfish
Sphaeramia nematoptera, commonly known as the Pajama Cardinalfish, is a fish with an inimitable style. Native to the coral reefs of Indonesia, it immediately captures attention with its pale green-yellow head, orange-rimmed eyes, and most notably, its wide vertical black band contrasted against its white rear speckled with dots. Its yellow pelvic fins and discreet behavior make it both an aesthetic and useful addition to the reef aquarium.
A Nocturnal Fish with a Unique Silhouette
With an ovaloid shape and slightly laterally compressed body, the Sphaeramia nematoptera measures about 8 cm when fully grown. This twilight-dwelling fish loves to swim in groups of 3 to 6 individuals at mid-height in the tank, often threading between coral branches to hide. It is particularly appreciated for its tranquility and good compatibility with invertebrates and other peaceful species.

Sphaeramia nematoptera
Commandé 2 mais un n'a pas supporté le voyage. Poisson sympa, et j'en ai recommandé 3 pour faire un mini banc. Il chasse la nuit, ce qui fais de l'animation quand les autres dorment. Superbes couleurs. Merci à Récifathome pour leur professionnalisme et leur écoute du client.
