The Colombo Marine Magnesium Test is a drop test designed to accurately measure the magnesium concentration in saltwater aquariums. Magnesium plays a key role in stabilizing parameters and maintaining a good calcium and KH balance.
Precise measurement of magnesium
This colorimetric test works by progressively adding reactive drops into a water sample. The color change reliably determines the magnesium content of the aquarium.
Essential in reef aquariums
An appropriate magnesium level contributes to the stability of calcium and KH, thereby promoting the growth of corals and calcareous algae. In case of imbalance, Colombo KH plus, Calcium plus, and Magnesium plus additives can restore these values to desired levels.
