The Tunze Comline® Nanofilter 3161 is a compact and silent internal filter designed for freshwater and marine aquariums of 30 to 100 liters, or up to 1000 liters when used as a surface filter. It offers efficient and multifunctional filtration thanks to its "Comline®" design and its energy-efficient Comline 900 pump with adjustable flow rate.

This filter effectively removes organic load close to its source while maintaining an aesthetic and discreet appearance in the aquarium. Its combined surface and bottom aspiration system prevents the formation of greasy films and ensures crystal clear water.

Comline® Design: Performance and Simplicity

The Tunze Comline® range is known for its compact, efficient, and aesthetic internal filters. Each component is designed to offer maximum efficiency with minimal space. The Nanofilter 3161 is particularly suitable for nano-aquariums or as a surface filter for larger tanks, eliminating greasy films and ensuring optimal oxygenation.

Two-Compartment Structure

The Comline® Nanofilter 3161 consists of two chambers:

• First chamber: receives about 15% of the total flow. It is intended to accommodate a small heater, probes (pH, temperature), or biological media.
• Main chamber: receives about 85% of the flow. It can be filled with filter foam, perlon, activated carbon, or other media as needed.

The filter comes ready to use with included filter media.

Mounting with Magnet Holder Silence

The filter is mounted with a patented magnetic holder Tunze Magnet Holder Silence, ensuring perfect stability without vibration up to 10 mm glass thickness (15 mm with optional accessory).

Maintenance and Use

The top cover allows simple and clean replacement of the filter media. The rear cover can remain closed even when installing probes or a heater.
