Filters, skimmers and knowledge are necessary, as natural conditions can only be recreated when the supply of food and additives and the removal of unnecessary substances are balanced. Consequently, the waste excreted into the water by one type of organism (e.g., fish) is used by another type (e.g., corals, small animals) or eliminated by technical devices (e.g., filters, skimmers) and thus rendered harmless.

The new Comline® Reefpack 500 from TUNZE® consists of a DOC Skimmer 9012, the Multifilter 3168 with filter cartridges, the Osmolator® 3155, and a reservoir with a volume of 27 liters.
Comline® Reefpack 500 from TUNZE® is exclusively based on the extraction of waste from the aquarium, does not have a biological stage, and requires a minimum of 10 kg of live rock, which allows it to never compete with the internal biodynamics of the reef biotope. Like all Comline® elements, Reefpack 500 can be combined and supplemented with other elements such as Calcium Automat, Calcium Dispenser or other Multifilters. The set is delivered in a 27-liter reservoir, fully assembled with filter media and Magnet Holder Silence for glass thickness up to 15 mm. After setting up the filtration in the aquarium, the reservoir serves as a water reserve for the Osmolator®.
