Rowa Phos D&D 5000 ml – Anti-Phosphate Resin

The brand guarantees that RowaPhos removes more phosphates than other anti-phosphate media available on the market. Its adsorption capacity is 25 g of phosphates per kilogram of resin, making it a benchmark solution for nutrient control.

Action and Efficiency

RowaPhos effectively absorbs phosphates, as well as silicates and arsenic. It is completely safe for use in both marine and freshwater aquariums and does not release any undesirable compounds into the water, even once the resin is saturated.

Longevity tests conducted over several years have shown no leaching phenomenon, ensuring reliable and stable use over the long term.

Treated Volumes

100 ml of RowaPhos treats up to 800 liters in freshwater and 400 liters in seawater.

250 ml of RowaPhos treats up to 2000 liters in freshwater and 1000 liters in seawater.

500 ml of RowaPhos treats up to 4000 liters in freshwater and 2000 liters in seawater.

1000 ml of RowaPhos treats up to 8000 liters in freshwater and 4000 liters in seawater.

The 5000 ml packaging is particularly suitable for large aquariums, significant reef installations, and professional systems.

Usage Tips

To achieve the best results, RowaPhos resin should be used regularly and renewed approximately every 1 to 2 months depending on the phosphate load. Occasional use does not allow for maintaining a low rate sustainably.

RowaPhos should never be washed. It must be kept moist at all times, as it loses all effectiveness if it dries out.

After use, carefully close the container or repackage the resin in an airtight container.

Place the resin between two layers of perlon in a forced flow if possible, or in a filter sock positioned in a high water flow area.

Never pour the resin directly into the aquarium without a container.

Monitoring and Control

It is recommended to regularly measure the phosphate level to control the effectiveness of the resin. When values rise, the resin must be replaced.

In a reef aquarium, the recommended phosphate level should not exceed 0.015 ppm. In freshwater aquariums, slightly higher values can be tolerated.

Compatibility

Suitable for all freshwater and marine aquariums. Compatible with fluidized filters, filter socks, and forced flow filtration systems.
