Ocean Prime copepods have a typical lipid content of 10 to 15% and a protein content of about 50% on a dry weight basis. The lipids are rich in phospholipid-bound DHA and EPA and also contain high levels of pigments such as astaxanthin. The product is sterilized, sealed, with no added preservatives, and requires no pre-rinsing before use.

Storage and Feeding Tips

An unopened package can be stored for up to 3 years at room temperature. After opening, use only clean tools, reseal carefully, then store in the refrigerator, and use within 1 to 3 weeks. It is also possible to freeze the product for up to 3 months. Distribute as much as the aquarium can consume in 3 to 5 minutes.
