Bacto Energy Fauna Marin is a highly concentrated bacterial additive designed to support beneficial denitrifying bacteria. It allows for a controlled and safe reduction of nitrites, nitrates, and phosphates, while promoting the biological balance of the reef aquarium.

This product provides an effective method for treating nitrogen compounds and integrates perfectly into modern reef systems. Due to its high concentration, it is cost-effective to use and simple to dose.

Recommended Dosage

2 to 5 ml per 1000 liters per day, depending on nutrient concentration and livestock population.

For older aquariums or those with high nutrient concentrations, it is recommended to start with a phosphate treatment using a suitable product, then reduce the initial dose of Bacto Energy by 75%.

Subsequently, increase the dosage every two weeks by about 10%, regularly monitoring the water parameters. An excessive dose manifests as the appearance of slimy deposits on the glass or rocks.

Any change in dosage should be carried out with caution.

Composition

Water, calcium chloride, magnesium sulfate, potassium chloride, ethylene acetate, sodium acetate, ethanol, peptone, tryptone, L-histidine hydrochloride, D-phenylalanine, L-threonine, DL-tryptophan, DL-valine, thiamine chloride, nicotinamide, riboflavin, pyridoxine hydrochloride, cyanocobalamin, sodium methylparaben, as well as various organic acids and trace elements.
