The Fauna Marin Multifilter is a versatile filter designed for internal use in a technical tank. Its compact format allows for installation in confined spaces while offering great flexibility in the choice of filtering media.

Fauna Marin Carb L activated carbon

Fauna Marin NPO Redupellets

Fauna Marin phosphate adsorbers: Power Phos, Phos 0.04, or Ultra Phos

Possible combinations between Carb L activated carbon and phosphate adsorbers

The Multifilter can operate as a pellet reactor, fluidized bed filter, or simple mechanical and chemical filter.

Technical Details

Installation

Place the filter in the technical tank and connect the provided pump (Sicce 1.0) using the screw connector. It is essential that the feeder pump delivers its full capacity according to the provided instructions.

If possible, install the filter before a skimmer to achieve faster nutrient breakdown.

The water level should not exceed 25 to 30 cm.

Remove the top central screw as well as the sieve, fill the filter with the prepared filtering material, and then replace the strainer without overtightening the screw. The filter must remain perfectly upright.

Start the pump and check that the filtering media is properly in motion. The filter should never stop, and the flow rate must remain sufficient at all times.

Every 3 to 4 Weeks

Remove and clean the lower sieve by opening the central screw of the retaining tube. After cleaning, reassemble the filter in reverse order.

It is essential that the return water flows along the side walls of the filter to ensure proper recirculation and optimal reoxygenation of the water.

The flow control located on the suction side of the pump allows for precise flow adjustment and ensures silent operation.
