The alkalinity test Fauna Marin Aquahometest KH allows for highly accurate determination of the carbonate hardness of marine aquarium water. The measurement is performed by titration and offers a reliable reading thanks to a clear color change from turquoise blue to pink.
This test is intended for the precise monitoring of alkalinity, an essential parameter for the chemical stability of the marine aquarium and the maintenance of corals and calcifying organisms.
Test Characteristics
Measurement range: 0.1 to 20 °dH.
Resolution: 0.1 °dH.
High precision determination of carbonate hardness and alkalinity.
Reading in °dH with a conversion table to other units included in the instructions.
Clearly visible color change from turquoise blue to pink.
Capacity and Use
The kit allows for approximately 100 measurements with a resolution of 0.2 °dH.
At maximum resolution of 0.1 °dH, the test allows for approximately 50 measurements for an alkalinity of 10 °dH.
