Polyp Medic is a treatment developed by :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}, designed for treating external parasitic diseases in aquarium fish, both in saltwater and freshwater.
It contains a buffered oxidizing agent allowing safe use in reef aquariums, without negative impact on corals, invertebrates, or nitrifying bacteria.
Targeted Parasites
Polyp Medic is particularly effective against saltwater white spot disease caused by Cryptocaryon irritans.
It also acts against freshwater white spot disease caused by Ichthyophthirius, as well as velvet disease caused by Amyloodinium ocellatum.
Reef Compatibility
The treatment is fully compatible with reef aquariums.
It does not harm corals, invertebrates, or nitrifying bacteria responsible for the nitrogen cycle.
Its buffered formulation allows maintaining a stable physiological pH during the treatment.
Recommended Dosage
Use a measuring spoon for approximately 190 liters of aquarium water.
Strictly follow the manufacturer's instructions during application.
