Colombo Marine Femsal® 500 ml – Treatment against marine fish skin parasites (up to 2,500 L)

Colombo Marine Femsal® is an active treatment designed to combat skin parasites in marine fish such as Cryptocaryon, Oödinium, Brooklynella, Uronema, and other similar parasites. Its formulation allows for the treatment of fish directly in the aquarium while minimizing the impact on invertebrates such as corals, shrimp, and anemones.

Targeted action against marine fish parasites

Femsal® effectively acts against several common parasitic diseases in marine aquariums, including white spots (Cryptocaryon irritans), Oödinium, Brooklynellosis, and Uronema. It helps quickly restore the well-being of affected fish while allowing treatment in the main tank.

Aquarium volume calculation

To determine the actual volume of the aquarium, multiply the length, width, and height (in decimeters). Then, deduct the volume occupied by live rocks, sand, and decorations. Generally, a deduction of about 20% is recommended, which can reach 30% in densely decorated aquariums.

Dosage and usage protocol

Initial dosage: 1 ml of Femsal® per 5 liters of aquarium water.

If necessary, administer an additional dose of 1 ml per 10 liters on the 3rd day and the 5th day.

Do not exceed 3 treatments in total (day 1, day 3, and day 5).

Deactivate the protein skimmer for at least 8 hours after each application.

Do not filter with activated carbon, do not use zeolite, and turn off UV lights and ozone equipment until 24 hours after the last administration.

Avoid water changes during treatment. If a water change is necessary, add 1 ml of Femsal® for every 5 liters of new seawater.

Warnings and precautions

Remove clams before treatment and keep them separately.

Do not use with sharks and rays. Use caution with certain species of shrimp.

Do not combine Femsal® with other medications.

After treatment, place new activated carbon in the filter to remove product residues.

Warning: Femsal® can cause permanent stains on clothes, furniture, or surfaces.

Usage conditions and safety

Product intended exclusively for ornamental fish in marine aquariums.

Store in original packaging, out of reach of children, between 4 and 32°C.

Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and inhalation of vapors.

In case of ingestion, consult a doctor immediately and present the packaging.
